37, of Greencastle, Pa.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died April 23 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
