Army Sgt. Gene L. Lamie
Died July 6, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
25, of Homerville, Ga.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; died July 6 in Iraq of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed was Pfc. Le Ron A. Wilson.
