25, of Stokesdale, N.C.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Giessen, Germany; died Dec. 6 of injuries sustained when he came in contact with enemy forces using small arms fire while conducting observation and security operations in Ramadi, Iraq.
