27, of Montrose, Ill.; assigned to the 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Cherry Point, N.C.; died Sept. 8, 2007, from wounds sustained while supporting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq, on June 20, 2005.
