30, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; assigned to 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Sept. 13 when he encountered enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations in Mosul, Iraq.
