Army Capt. Phillip T. Esposito
Died June 8, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
30, of Suffern, N.Y.; assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 42nd Infantry Division, New York Army National Guard, Troy, N.Y.; died on June 8 in Tikrit, Iraq, of injuries sustained June 7 when an explosion of unknown origin occurred near his location in Tikrit. Also killed was1st Lt. Louis E. Allen.
