24, of Pomeroy, Ohio; assigned to 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Aug. 27 of injuries sustained when his Humvee came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations in Baghdad.
