Died December 27, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
24, of Lenoir City, Tenn.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died Dec. 27 while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed was Cpl. Joshua M. Schmitz.
