24, of New Madrid, Mo.; assigned to 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.; died Oct. 23 from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Baghdad.
