Died May 10, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
26, of Lancaster, Pa., died May 10 in Chergataw, Khost province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.
