Army 1st Lt. Stephen C. Prasnicki
Died June 27, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
24, of Lexington, Va., assigned to 4th Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Warner Barracks, Bamberg, Germany; died June 27, in Maidan Shahr, Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device. Army Sgt. James L. Skalberg was also killed in the incident.
