Army Capt. Aaron R. Blanchard
Died April 23, 2013 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
32, of Selah, Wash., assigned to 2nd Aviation Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.; died April 23 of wounds caused by indirect fire in Pul-E-Alam, Afghanistan. Also killed in the incident was Army 1st Lt. Robert J. Hess, of Fairfax, Va.
