49, of Fayetteville, N.C.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.; died March 28 of a non-combat-related cause at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., after being medically evacuated from Afghanistan, via Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, on Feb. 16.
