Army Cpl. Andy D. Anderson
Died June 6, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
24, of Falls Church, Va.; assigned to the 46th Engineer Battalion, Fort Rucker, Ala.; killed June 6 when his camp received indirect enemy fire during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed was Sgt. Carlos E. Pernell.

Fort Rucker soldier killed in Iraq attack
FORT RUCKER, Ala. — A Fort Rucker soldier who was killed this week in an indirect fire attack in Iraq has been identified as an Army corporal from Virginia, military officials said Friday.
Cpl. Andy Dee Anderson of Falls Church, Va., died from wounds he sustained in the Tuesday attack in Ramadi, which also killed Army Sgt. Carlos Pernell, 25, of Prattville, Ala., and injured three other soldiers.
The soldiers were assigned to B Company, 46th Engineer Battalion, which went to Iraq in October.
