38, of Norton, Mass.; assigned to 4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.; died Aug. 8 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., from wounds suffered July 31 in Baktabad, Afghanistan, caused by small-arms fire.
