21, of Somerville, Ohio; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky.; died Jan. 17 of a non-combat-related illness in Baghdad.
Fort Campbell soldier dies in Iraq

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. — A Fort Campbell soldier died in Iraq this week from a non-combat-related illness, the Pentagon said.
Pfc. Adam R. Shepherd, 21, of Somerville, Ohio, died Jan. 17 in Baghdad.
The Pentagon didn’t disclose his illness and said an investigation is continuing.
Shepherd was assigned to the Army’s 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
