TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A soldier from Titusville has been killed in Iraq, the Defense Department announced Feb. 17.
Pfc. Branden C. Cummings, 20, died Feb. 14 in Baqubah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device exploded near his vehicle during combat operations.
Cummings was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
