Army Pfc. Michael W. Franklin
Died March 7, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
22, of Coudersport, Pa.; assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Howze, Korea; killed March 7 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his screening area in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed was Sgt. Andrew L. Bossert.
