26, of Hospers, Iowa; assigned to 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Aug. 24 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations in Baghdad.
