19, of New Berlinville, Pa.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.; killed April 22 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his observation post during dismounted combat reconnaissance operations in Baghdad.
