Army Sgt. 1st Class Richard L. Schild
Died December 4, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
40, of Tabor, S.D.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 147th Field Artillery, South Dakota Army National Guard, Yankton, S.D.; killed Dec. 4 when improvised explosive devices detonated near his Humvee during convoy operations in Baghdad. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Daniel M. Cuka.
