Army Sgt. David J. Davis
Died September 17, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
32, of Mount Airy, Md.; assigned to 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; died Sept. 17 in Baghdad of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Stryker Armored Vehicle during combat operations in Sadr City, Iraq.
