23, of Easley, S.C.; assigned to the 391st Engineer Battalion, 415th Chemical Brigade, Army Reserve, Greenville, S.C.; killed Aug. 11 when ordnance exploded near his vehicle as his unit was performing a route clearing mission in Orgun-E, Afghanistan.
