Army Sgt. Jesse J.J. Castro
Died December 6, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
22, of Chalan Pago, Guam; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died Dec. 6 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle while on patrol in Hawijah, Iraq. Also killed were: Cpl. Jason I. Huffman, Spc. Joshua B. Madden, Spc. Yari Mokri and Pfc. Travis C. Krege.
