Army Sgt. Kenneth G. VonRonn
Died January 6, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
20, of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry Division, New York Army National Guard, New York, N.Y.; killed Jan. 6 with six of his fellow soldiers when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. Also killed were Sgt. 1st Class Kurt J. Comeaux, Sgt. Christopher J. Babin, Spc. Bradley J. Bergeron, Spc. Huey P.L. Fassbender, Spc. Armand L. Frickey and Spc. Warren A. Murphy.
