25, of Saginaw, Mich.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.; died Feb. 27 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
