Died September 7, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
22, of El Centro, Calif.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Sept. 7 in Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, of injuries sustained Sept. 1 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Abu Ghraib, Iraq.
