Died May 18, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
28, of Overland Park, Kan.; assigned to 1st Battalion (Air Assault), 377th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; died May 18 in Asadabad, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by indirect fire. Also killed was Army Sgt. Jabraun S. Knox.
