31, of Cottonwood, Calif.; assigned to 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky.; died July 14 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained July 13 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle in Muqdadiyah, Iraq.
