Died May 7, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
24, of Chico, Calif.; assigned to 3rd Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died May 7 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device. Also killed were Army Sgt. Jacob M. Schwallie and Army Pfc. Dustin D. Gross.
