Died May 3, 2014 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
19, of Los Angeles, died May 3 in Homburg, Germany, of a non-combat illness. She was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
Fort Carson soldier dies in Germany from illness

The Defense Department says a Fort Carson soldier has died in Germany from a noncombat-related illness.
The military says 19-year-old Spc. Daniela Rojas of Los Angeles died Saturday in Homburg, Germany. No other details were released.
The military didn’t say where became ill, but she was serving in Operation Enduring Freedom, the U.S. operation in Afghanistan.
Rojas was assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, part of Fort Carson’s 4th Infantry Division.
