Army Spc. Derence W. Jack
Died October 31, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
31, of Saipan, Marianas Islands; assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry, 29th Brigade Combat Team, Army Reserve, Barrigada, Guam; killed Oct. 31 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in Balad, Iraq. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Wilgene T. Lieto.
