Army Spc. Jonathan D. Cadavero
Died February 27, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
24, of Takoma Park, Md.; assigned to the 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.; died Feb. 27 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Cpl. Lorne E. Henry Jr. and Sgt. Richard A. Soukenka.
Takoma Park, Md., soldier killed in Iraq

WASHINGTON — A soldier from Takoma Park, Md., was killed in Iraq this week, the Pentagon said March 2.
Army Spc. Jonathan D. Cadavero, 24, died Feb. 27 after an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed in the blast were Sgt. Richard A. Soukenka, 30, of Oceanside, Calif., and Cpl. Lorne E. Henry, Jr., 21, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
The men were assigned to the 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, N.Y.
