21, of Mount Shasta, Calif.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry Regiment, Vicenza, Italy; killed died Nov. 22 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in Shah Wali Kot, Afghanistan.
