Army Spc. Philip C. Ford
Died December 10, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
21, of Freeport, Texas; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska; died Dec. 10 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Baghdad. Also killed was Sgt. Brennan C. Gibson and Pfc. Shawn M. Murphy.
