Died December 18, 2013 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
22, of Shubuta, Miss.; assigned to 1st Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died Dec. 18 in Now Bahar, Afghanistan, in a helicopter crash. Also killed were Chief Warrant Officer 2 Randy L. Billings, Sgt. Peter C. Bohler, Sgt. 1st Class Omar W. Forde, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joshua B. Silverman and Staff Sgt. Jesse L. Williams.
