Died October 16, 2009 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
32, of Fredericksburg, Texas; assigned to the 143rd Infantry Detachment, Austin, Texas; died Oct. 16 in Jaghato district, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an IED. Also killed was Spc. Anthony G. Green.
