Army Staff Sgt. Edwin H. Dazachacon
Died February 13, 2006 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
38, of Belleville, Ill.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Feb. 13 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations north of Deh Rawod, Afghanistan. Also killed were Sgt. 1st Class Chad A. Gonsalves; Staff Sgt. Clinton T. Newman and Sgt. Alberto D. Montrond.
