Died July 27, 2013 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
30, of Stockbridge, Ga.; assigned to 10th Transportation Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.; died July 27 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire. Also killed was Army Spc. Caryn E. Nouv, 29, of Newport News, Va.
