27, of Petoskey, Mich.; assigned to Inspector/Instructor Staff, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, Akron, Ohio; attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward); died April 13 as a result of wounds sustained from enemy mortar fire at Camp Hit in Anbar province, Iraq.
