Died August 22, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
19, of Huntington Park, Calif.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.; attached to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward); killed Aug. 22 when the vehicle in which he was riding was struck by an improvised explosive device while he was conducting combat operations near Fallujah, Iraq.
