Died August 20, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
20, of Tucson, Ariz.; assigned to 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.; died Aug. 20 of injuries suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Rawah, Iraq.

Sailor killed in Iraq

TUCSON, Ariz. — A sailor from Tucson has died of injuries sustained in Iraq when an explosive struck the vehicle he was in during combat operations in Anbar province, authorities said Tuesday.
Hospitalman Chadwick T. Kenyon, 20, died Sunday, the Department of Defense announced.
Kenyon, who served as a medic, was assigned to the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Twentynine Palms, Calif.
An improvised explosive struck the vehicle he was riding in, the Pentagon said.
